We Have Enough Now

I swear it has been snowing since Christmas morning. It doesn't seem to matter what state we are in, either. We have been in Utah and Idaho over the course of the last three days it has not stopped snowing the whole time. It has been snowing all day today as well. Tomorrow, we are slated to go home, but it looks like it might be another blizzard tomorrow, too. We are really hoping it doesn't because we would like to go home sometime before the end of the year. I don't have much more vacation left from work so going home tomorrow would be really nice. Enough with the snow. We have enough now and we don't want any more. Christmas is over and we want spring now. Go away snow, go away.

Accessories

I have been trying to fix our plasma tv for almost 4 months now. I thought I had it at one point only to have the same thing happen again: it won't turn on. I have even gone as far as replacing parts and buying a remote control for it. Nothing has worked out. It still has the tv stand and everything looks in mint condition. However, it just won't turn on. I've gone from optimistic about fixing it, to wanting to burn it, to trying to fix it again. I just want to go back in time a year and a half and convince myself not to buy it. It would have been easier to just buy a regular tv until we were really ready to buy the big expensive one.

Life Goes On

We've had my sister-in-law living with us for almost 6 months now. It's been a bit of a roller coaster having her there. She's gone through quite a bit of trauma in the 6 months she has lived there. She has been laid off, unemployed, employed, unpregnant, and now pregnant. Her boyfriend and her picked out some engagement rings a few days ago and now they are planning on getting married in March. We're all hoping the best for them. They need to have something good go their way. They definitely deserve it after what has been going on in both of their lives.

It's Been A While

Man, it has been a while since I have posted on my blog. I think that is mostly in part because I am not posting for PayPerPost anymore. Apparently, my blog isn't as high quality as they would like it to be, so they booted me. To be honest, I don't really mind. They haven't been paying out like they used to and my blog was mostly out there to make money. Since that source of income and material for blogging is no longer out there for me, I guess it's back to just regular blogging.

Christmas has come and gone. It seems to do that every year. There is the month of building and building and building excitement. Then in a few minutes to an hour, it's all over. We actually had a very modest Christmas this year. We gave the boys some new coloring books, some toy tools, and some crayons. They also got some new clothes as well. I gave my wife some nice picture frames with family photos in them, a digital picture frame for the family room, and some pampering items like a pillow and some massageing slippers. All in all, it was a good Christmas.

Right now, we are still visiting my family in Rexburg, Idaho. We will be here for another night and day, weather permitting. It took us an extra day and a stay at a motel to get up here because the weather caused them to shut the interstate. They are predicting another storm tomorrow. I'm hoping we are able to get home tomorrow a lot easier than what it took to get up here.

Magnetic Jewelry

With the increased pressure everyone may be feeling as a result of the economy and the recession, any relief at all would be great. One way to get this relief is through
magnetic bracelets. Studies have shown that these bracelets and other magnetic jewelry can help relieve aches and pains and can even help you sleep better. I have been trying out a bracelet for about a week now. I personally have not noticed any difference myself, other than a slight decrease in the amount of stress felt. Magnetic jewelry does seem to be the way to go if you want a simple way to alleviate the aches and pains of life and if you want to sleep a little better.

Nap Everyday

I think everyone should be allowed to take a nap every. It would release the tension felt by work and give you more energy. I'm not saying that you should sleep half the day away or just go sleep and hope all your problems go away. I'm saying that there should be a period of time everyday set apart, separate from lunchtime, that everyone should be allowed to take naps. It may actually increase productivity at work as opposed to some may say about allowing people to sleep at work.
