I Hate Mondays

Today was just one of those Mondays where you knew things were going to be not so positive from the get go. For one, I was coming back after a 3-day weekend, which is always hard. When I got to work, I immediately had to fix some improvements I had made to our code on Thursday. This would now be the third day I would be working on these improvements. What bugs me most when I send my revisions out to be reviewed is when someone tells me it is wrong and that's all they say. If you are going to tell me it's wrong, at least give me a suggestion on how to fix it. Don't just say it is wrong. Then, as the day ended, I was nearly done with my improvements, again, I started getting a strange error. I hadn't changed anything around the affected code, and yet the error still was showing up. I talked to the guy in charge of the databases and he said everything was fine. When I notified my teammates, they just shrugged it off and basically said good luck. It was like they didn't care or didn't believe what I was saying. Finally, when I was about to leave, I got a teammate to do what I was doing and he got the same error. That may sound bad, but at least it proves that it's not just me and that the problem is outside my machine. I still have to deal with that issue when I get back to work tomorrow. Then, going home, I had to change routes because traffic was backed up for miles. I never found out why. Personally, I didn't care to. I'm just glad this day is almost over.
