Family Insurance

Before I got my new job, we had our own private family insurance policy. To be honest, compared to what my previous job was offering and what we could find on our own, it was much cheaper per month to have our own policy. I'm guessing that's because a group policy has to accept everyone regardless of their conditions, whereas a private policy doesn't have to do that. Because everyone has to be accepted, those policies were more expensive. To me, unless you get a really great job with great benefits, insurance will always be another big monthly bill.
