A Brighter Day

I am in a much better mood today than I was yesterday at this time. For one, I was able to close out two bugs at work today. That may not seem like a lot, but when the code is millions of lines and most of it is 2 decades old, it is very hard to dig into the code and start changing things. The code is so huge that you never know what will happen if you change just one line or spell something differently. I was able to fix one bug today through coding and the other bug was closed out by finding out that it no longer was happening on the end user's computers. Always a good thing to have a productive day at work.

Coming home was better, too. There were no wrecks on the road and traffic flowed pretty smoothly. Also, when I got home, there wasn't someone screaming a bad song at the top of their lungs and everyone ended up leaving so the house is pretty quiet. Again, it's nice to have a good day at work. It's also a better day when you have that and you can actually relax, physically and mentally, when you get home. In comparison to yesterday, today has definitely been a brighter day.
